Renowned botanist and Lyme Regis resident Professor Sir Ghillean Prance has travelled on 39 expeditions to the Amazon Rain Forest, and has written 26 books and many scientific papers.
He will have just returned from another visit to the Amazon region (earlier in November) before giving us a talk on the Amazon Rainforests and the deforestation that is taking place. His presentation will include a selection of pictures, and 2 sets of books will be for sale.
